Tahiti for Families

While Tahiti is best known as a romantic destination, there are resorts that are very family friendly, and offer kids’ clubs, children menus, and activities perfectly suited for your family.

Throughout the year, family-oriented promotions are offered such as kids fly free (or at reduced rates) on Air Tahiti Nui, kids stay and eat free at select resorts.  Just ask what promotions may be available during your travel dates.

Now, I’m not going to lie to you; even with the best promotions offered, Tahiti can be relatively pricey for a family. And larger families (3 or more kids) can be a challenge in terms of bungalows or suites to accommodate everyone in one unit.  Fiji, Hawaii, Mexico, and the Caribbean ARE less expensive when compared to Tahiti (let’s just get that out of the way upfront).  However, if you are looking for that once-in-a-lifetime vacation to share with your family, Tahiti is hard to beat.

Multi-generational family groups and reunions, and adult family groups (such as grown siblings and their spouses) is also a great way to visit Tahiti.  Consider a multiple island itinerary or a small ship cruise around the islands.
