Huahine is made up of two islands that share one crystal clear lagoon. This island is usually overlooked by tourists, and it is quiet, secluded, and slower paced. There are a total of eight small villages on Huahine. It is a great island to explore and just to get away. We offer two accommodation choices here, both moderate in quality.
Getting There
Interisland flight service from Papeete, Moorea, Raiatea, and Bora Bora daily. Once you arrive, you’ll take a boat to Royal Huahine, or a prebooked van transfer to Matai Laipta Village, depending on where you are staying.
Things to Do
This is a laid back island but with plenty of activities. Watersports and diving, horseback riding, hiking, deep sea fishing…to name a few. There are some great surf spots, and watch a feeding of the sacred blue-eyed eels unique to this island.
Helpful Tips
